The Role
As a Bodyshop Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall day-to-day operation of the Bodyshop, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently, profitably, safely, and to the highest possible standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the daily operation and workflow of the Bodyshop to maximise productivity and efficiency.
- Leading, motivating, and developing a team of technicians and Bodyshop staff.
- Monitoring performance, productivity, quality, and financial targets.
- Managing repair volumes and resources to ensure vehicles are completed within agreed timescales.
- Maintaining strong relationships with customers, insurers, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.
- Ensuring repairs meet manufacturer standards, quality procedures, and health and safety requirements.
- Identifying opportunities to improve operational performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Taking overall responsibility for maintaining a professional, safe, and well-organised working environment.
About You
This opportunity would suit an experienced Bodyshop Manager / Accident Repair Centre Manager / Bodyshop General Manager / Repair Centre Manager with a proven track record of managing a busy repair operation.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience managing a professional Bodyshop or accident repair centre.
- Strong knowledge of modern accident repair processes and Bodyshop operations.
- Proven leadership and people management experience.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage performance and profitability.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive approach to improving productivity, quality, and customer service.
- A full UK driving licence.
