Bowl Tool Technician / Mechanical Technician / Machine Build Engineer

Location: West Midlands

Salary: Up to £40,000 + Overtime + Excellent Benefits

Looking for a new engineering challenge? I'm recruiting for a Bowl Tool Technician to join a growing automation business specialising in feeding systems and special purpose machinery.

No bowl feeder experience? No problem. If you've got the right attitude, solid hands‑on engineering skills and a willingness to learn, full training will be provided.

Backgrounds we’re looking for

• Toolmaker
• Mechanical Fitter
• Welder
• Sheet Metal Fabricator
• Machine Build Technician

What You’ll Be Doing

• Building and developing vibratory bowl feeder systems
• Reading engineering drawings and pneumatic schematics
• Installing mechanical and pneumatic components
• Optimising feeder performance
• Supporting machine build and commissioning projects

What We’re Looking For

• Mechanical apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 or a “Time‑Served” Technician / Engineer
• Strong workshop skills with a hands‑on approach
• Experience reading engineering drawings
