Broadband Network Planner

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Broadband Network Planner to contribute to the expansion of their network infrastructure in Plymouth . You will work with advanced mapping tools and data analysis to identify the best routes for network expansion, considering technical feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and future scalability. Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed network designs and plans for broadband network rollouts.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments for new network infrastructure projects.

• Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to ensure plans are implemented accurately.
• Optimize network designs for capacity, performance, and cost-efficiency.

Requirements

• Experience in network planning, design, or engineering, preferably in broadband or telecommunications.
• Proficiency with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and CAD tools.
• Understanding of fiber optic network architecture and deployment principles.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration.
• Familiarity with project management principles is a plus for this role in Plymouth .
