About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Broadband Network Specialist to join their expanding technical division in Manchester . This role is critical for the ongoing development and optimisation of high-speed broadband networks, ensuring seamless connectivity for a growing customer base. You will be involved in network planning, performance analysis, and the deployment of cutting-edge broadband technologies. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance broadband network solutions, including fibre optic and HFC networks.
• Conduct network capacity planning and forecasting to anticipate future needs.
• Monitor network performance metrics, analysing data to identify and resolve issues.
• Oversee the rollout of new broadband technologies and service upgrades.
• Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and services.
• Provide technical expertise and support to field operations and customer support teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 4 years of experience in broadband network design and operation.
• Deep understanding of DOCSIS, PON, and other relevant broadband technologies.
• Proficiency in network simulation and analysis tools.
• Experience with network management systems and performance monitoring platforms.
