Broadcast Producer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and creative Broadcast Producer to join their dynamic television production team in Glasgow . You will be instrumental in managing the end-to-end production of engaging television content, from initial concept development and scripting to filming, editing, and post-production. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines, ensuring the delivery of high-quality broadcast programming that resonates with target audiences and upholds the channel's standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and pitch innovative program ideas and formats suitable for broadcast.
• Manage all aspects of production logistics, including budgeting, scheduling, crewing, and location scouting.
• Oversee pre-production, ensuring scripts are finalized, talent is secured, and all resources are in place for efficient shooting.
• Direct and supervise on-set production activities to ensure creative vision and technical quality are met.
• Collaborate with editors, sound engineers, and graphic designers during post-production to shape the final program.
• Ensure compliance with broadcast regulations and company policies throughout the production process.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in television production, with a strong portfolio of produced work.
• Proven experience in managing broadcast budgets and schedules effectively.
• Excellent understanding of television production workflows, including filming techniques, editing software, and post-production processes.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide production crews.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
