Job Description
CareerMakers Recruitment are currently looking for a Bucket Loader Driver in Bolton, BL4.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate a bucket loader/wheel loader safely and efficiently.
* Load and move materials around the site as required.
* Load materials into trucks, hoppers, stockpiles, and processing equipment.
* Carry out daily pre-start inspections and report any defects or maintenance issues.
* Ensure the machine is operated within safe working limits.
* Maintain clean and organised work areas.
* Assist with general site duties when required.
* Follow site health and safety procedures at all times.
* Work effectively with other operators, ground workers, supervisors, and site staff.
* Carry out routine checks, basic maintenance, and cleaning of the machine.
* Minimise unnecessary fuel use and machine wear through efficient operation.
* Complete any required paperwork, daily checks, or site records.
Requirements
* Previous experience operating a bucket loader/wheel loader.
* Relevant plant operator qualification or certification where required.
* Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
* Ability to carry out equipment checks and identify basic mechanical issues.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
* Physically fit and comfortable working in an outdoor environment.
* A valid driving licence and additional plant tickets are desirable.
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday, 7am - 4pm
Friday, 7am - 3.30pm
