Building Control Administrator

Precision Placements is supporting a growing national Building Control and compliance consultancy with the appointment of a Building Control Administrator.

This is a varied position providing essential administrative and project support across Building Control, Building Safety and regulatory compliance services.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and issuing quotations

• Setting up and closing projects on internal systems

• Maintaining accurate project records and tracking information

• Downloading, organising and filing project documents and design packs

• Liaising with clients and colleagues to obtain outstanding information

• Supporting consultants with Building Safety Regulator applications and online submissions

• Assisting with supplier forms, pre-qualification questionnaires and internal invoicing

• Responding to telephone enquiries and managing a central email inbox

• Taking and preparing minutes from team meetings

• Providing general administrative support across the team

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience within an administrative or project-support position

• Excellent organisation and attention to detail

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Confidence using Microsoft Office

• The ability to work independently and collaboratively

• A professional, approachable and confident manner

Experience within Building Control, construction, architecture, engineering or a professional consultancy would be advantageous but is not essential. Knowledge of HubSpot or another CRM system would also be beneficial.
