Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Administrator within the Building Control tech support team. This is a full-time role at Grade 8.
Reporting to the Building Control Manager, you will lead and manage a team of technical support officers, ensuring the Building Control service operates efficiently, accurately, and in full compliance with the Building Safety Act.
You will manage the day to day activities associated with Building Control support, identify where processes may benefit from review and implement change to improve efficiency.
You will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the Building Control Service Quality Management System, making improvements where required, monitoring training and CPD, to ensure competence is maintained across the team in accordance with the requirements of Operational Standards Rules.
You will develop our systems, to allow efficient capture of data required, to ensure we are able to provide statutory Key Performance Indicator returns to the Building Safety Regulator.
You will also contribute to the promotion of the Building Control Service, to ensure its long-term competitiveness and viability is maintained.
