Building Services Engineer - Remote

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Building Services Engineer to join their fully remote team, serving clients across the UK. This role is crucial for the planning, design coordination, and remote support of building services systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP). You will collaborate with design teams, contractors, and facilities management to ensure that new and existing building systems operate efficiently, sustainably, and safely. Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical expertise and support for the design and implementation of building services (MEP).
• Review and comment on design drawings, specifications, and technical submittals from consultants and contractors.
• Troubleshoot and resolve building services issues remotely, offering practical solutions to on-site teams.
• Monitor project progress related to building services installation and performance through remote channels.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, energy efficiency standards, and sustainability targets.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to building services maintenance and operation.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Building Services Engineer or in a similar MEP engineering role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within commercial and residential buildings.
• Proficiency in using relevant design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP, IES VE).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective remote collaboration.
• Ability to analyze technical data and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing workload independently in a remote setting .
