Our client is seeking a skilled Building Services Engineer to oversee the operational integrity of their facilities in Wolverhampton . This role demands a comprehensive understanding of various building systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC, ensuring they function efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for both planned maintenance and reactive repairs, contributing to a productive and secure environment for all occupants. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute planned preventative maintenance schedules for all building services systems.
- Diagnose and rectify faults in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems promptly.
- Oversee the work of external contractors, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and recommend improvements.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and energy usage.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and regulatory standards for building operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Building Services Engineer or in a similar facilities management role.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Experience in reading and interpreting building plans and technical drawings.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in facilities management.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
