About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Building Services Engineer to contribute to their innovative construction projects in Cambridge . This role involves the design, implementation, and maintenance of essential building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP). You will work closely with architects and construction teams to ensure that these systems are integrated efficiently and meet the highest performance and sustainability standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for creating functional and energy-efficient building environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and specify mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for buildings.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of building services on site.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and sustainability standards .
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and project managers.
• Conduct site inspections and troubleshoot any issues related to building services.
• Provide technical guidance and support to site teams and contractors.

Requirements

• Degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience as a Building Services Engineer .
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems design and installation.
• Familiarity with relevant building codes and energy efficiency standards.
• Proficiency in CAD and relevant engineering software.
