Building Surveyor

Our client, a well-established Building Consultancy is looking to appoint a Building Surveyor to join their growing team in Bristol.

This is a project-focused opportunity, with the successful candidate working closely with the management team to deliver Employer's Agent and Contract Administration services across a range of projects.

Alongside the core project work, the role will provide exposure to a broad range of professional surveying disciplines, including building surveys, dilapidations and related services. This varied experience is designed to support continued professional development and progression through the APC pathway.

Building Surveyor Salary & Benefits:

• Salary of £35,000 - £55,000, depending on experience
• Full-time position
• Support towards APC progression and achieving MRICS status

Building Surveyor Job Overview:

The successful Building Surveyor will primarily focus on project work, supporting the delivery of Employer's Agent and Contract Administration services. The role also offers the opportunity to develop experience across a wider range of professional surveying instructions, providing a strong platform for long-term career progression.

The business has a strong focus on professional development, with several members of the team recently achieving MRICS status.

The role will include:

• Delivering Employer's Agent services across a range of projects
• Providing Contract Administration services
• Working closely with the management team throughout project delivery
• Supporting projects from inception through to completion
• Carrying out building surveys
• Undertaking dilapidations and related professional surveying services
• Developing technical and professional surveying experience
• Supporting APC progression where applicable

Building Surveyor Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience
• Strong project experience is essential
• MRICS preferred
• Non-MRICS candidates will be considered if actively progressing through the APC
• Experience across Employer's Agent and/or Contract Administration would be advantageous
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Genuine interest in developing a career within Building Surveying
