Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 plus performance bonus
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm
Location: Outskirts of Newcastle City Centre - Free parking available
The successful candidate must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Executive. This role is ideal for an experienced sales professional with a proven track record of winning new business, developing client relationships, and securing high-value contracts.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, generating leads, attending client meetings, delivering presentations, and converting prospects into long-term customers. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and wider team to develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline while ensuring an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, prospecting, and lead generation activities.
Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to proposal, negotiation, and contract award.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Attend meetings with clients both in person and via Microsoft Teams.
Deliver professional presentations and proposals tailored to client requirements.
Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and business development objectives.
Develop a thorough understanding of the company's products and services to effectively communicate value to clients.
Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular updates on opportunities and forecasts.
Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery for new clients.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within target sectors.
Ensure CRM systems and sales records are maintained accurately and up to date.
Represent the business professionally at industry events, networking meetings, and exhibitions where required.Skills and Experience

Proven success within a business-to-business sales role.
Experience managing the full sales process from lead generation through to closing deals.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Commercial awareness with the ability to identify customer needs and present tailored solutions.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate sales records.
