Job Type: Part-Time (Approx. 22 hours / 3 days per week)
About the Role
We have an opportunity for a confident and commercially driven Business Development Executive looking for a flexible part‑time position to join our fast-growing full-service Digital, Creative and Marketing agency based in Preston.
This is an outbound sales-focused role centred on proactive telephone prospecting, lead generation and pipeline management. You will generate qualified meetings and new business opportunities across B2B and B2C sectors.
This position is ideal for an experienced Business Development or Outbound Sales Executive with a strong track record in agency or professional services environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume outbound sales calls to senior decision‑makers
- Generate qualified appointments and new business opportunities
- Build and manage a structured sales pipeline and CRM database
- Follow up warm and cold leads to drive conversion
- Track call activity, conversion rates and pipeline performance
- Work closely with the Managing Director to develop new business strategy
- Support integrated outbound campaigns including email and direct outreach
- Attend meetings and networking events as required
Skills & Experience Required
- 3 years’ experience in Business Development, Sales or Lead Generation
- Proven track record of outbound telephone prospecting
- Experience selling marketing, digital, creative or professional services preferred
- Strong objection‑handling and negotiation skills
- Comfortable working to activity and revenue targets
- Excellent verbal communication and relationship-building ability
- Strong organisational and reporting skills
Desirable
- Experience within a marketing agency environment.
- Experience selling digital marketing, branding or creative services
- Knowledge of CRM systems and sales reporting tools
