Are you an experienced Sales Specialist who thrives on opening doors, winning new logos and developing high-value international business?

I am partnering with a fast-growing, private-equity-backed global leader in IoT connectivity, supporting more than 17 million connected devices worldwide. As the commercial organisation continues to expand, I am looking to connect with accomplished Business Development Managers for current and future opportunities across EMEA.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious international technology business, take ownership of the complete sales cycle and help shape the future of connected technology.

The opportunity

This is an outbound, new-business-focused role for someone who enjoys identifying opportunities, engaging senior decision-makers and converting prospects into long-term customers.

You could be working with enterprise organisations, OEMs, industrial businesses, technology companies and strategic partners across EMEA.

You will be responsible for creating and managing your own pipeline, developing new customer relationships and owning opportunities from the initial approach through to negotiation and close.

What you’ll be doing

• Driving new-logo acquisition across your assigned territory

• Identifying and developing new business opportunities across EMEA

• Building a strong outbound pipeline through telephone, email, LinkedIn, networking and referrals, engaging senior decision-makers and understanding their commercial and technical challenges

• Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and close. Developing relationships with enterprise customers, OEMs and strategic partners

• Maintaining accurate CRM, pipeline and sales activity information

• Collaborating with Product, Engineering, Marketing and Customer Success

• Keeping up to date with IoT connectivity, connected technology and emerging market trends

What we’re looking for

You will have four or more years’ experience in B2B new-business sales or business development, together with a proven track record of generating your own pipeline and winning new customers.

Your experience could come from:

• IoT or cellular connectivity

• SaaS or subscription-based technology, Telematics, fleet technology or connected mobility

• Connected security or remote-monitoring solutions

• Smart metering or Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI)

• Telecommunications, eSIM/eUICC, MVNO or MNO environments. Other connected-device, data or B2B technology markets

Direct experience selling IoT connectivity, eSIM, cellular or related technology solutions to enterprise customers or OEMs would be highly advantageous. However, strong Sales Specialists from adjacent technology markets with relevant transferable experience are also encouraged to apply.
