Regional Business Manager – Essex
Salary: Up to £45,000 basic + commission + company car + annual bonus
Working Pattern: Hybrid/Remote – Monday & Friday WFH, Tuesday–Thursday on the road
Hours: Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm (40 hours per week)
A leading global electronics manufacturer is expanding its UK commercial team. Known for producing high‑quality electromechanical components, EMC solutions, inductors, transformers and RF products, the organisation supports customers across the UK and Ireland with local technical expertise, rapid delivery, flexible ordering and full design‑to‑production support. Their UK division is recognised for its service‑led approach, broad product portfolio and strong engineering capability.
The Role
As Regional Business Manager, you will drive targeted sales growth across an established Essex territory. Reporting to the District Sales Manager, you’ll manage a portfolio of customers, delivering tailored account management and positioning the business as their preferred electronics partner. You will focus on developing and expanding the Electromechanical product range within your region.
You will:
Grow sales and profit by increasing active projects across multiple customers
Engage customers through regular in‑person and remote activity
Manage projects from initial design concept through to production
Conduct territory reviews to identify opportunities and drive growth
Deliver personalised account management to strengthen long‑term relationships
Research and target high‑potential prospects to develop market strategies
Take full ownership of territory performance, ensuring customer numbers and spend align with growth expectations
About You
Bachelor’s degree ideally in electronics or an engineering discipline
2–3 years’ proven sales success in a technical, engineering, OEM or service‑led environment
Strong intellect, curiosity and analytical mindset
Experience working in a design‑led sales environment with design, procurement or engineering teams
Understanding of project management and long sales cycles (typically 6 months–2 years)
High energy, strong negotiation skills and a driven, results‑focused approach
Willingness to travel nationally, with occasional international travel
Full UK driving licence
This role suits a proactive, relationship‑driven salesperson who enjoys working closely with customers, identifying opportunities and supporting projects from concept to completion.
