Business Development Manager at Eight Financial Advice
Eight Financial Advice is one of the UK's leading financial planning businesses, serving almost 20,000 clients and managing over £5billion of client assets. We are looking to expand our Business Growth Team with a highly commercial Business Development Manager who will help build a structured pipeline of partnerships and introducer relationships across a range of providers – employers, professional services firms, employee benefit providers, accountants, payroll providers, solicitors and corporate organisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a consistent pipeline of partnership and introducer opportunities.
- Develop and execute structured prospecting strategies.
- Engage senior stakeholders and decision‑makers to create new client acquisition opportunities.
- Convert opportunities into long‑term commercial partnerships.
- Maintain accurate data and CRM records with high‑level discipline.
Qualifications
- Proven success in B2B business development, strategic partnerships, corporate relationship management or new‑business roles.
- Strong experience engaging senior stakeholders and decision‑makers.
- Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills.
- Strong negotiation and commercial acumen.
- High‑level CRM discipline and data‑management capability.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- Desirable – experience within financial services, wealth management, employee benefits or related sectors.
- Understanding of financial planning or wealth‑management propositions.
- Knowledge of workplace financial wellbeing programmes.
- Familiarity with the St. James's Place operating model.
