Our client is seeking an experienced and ambitious Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth and expand market reach from their Sunderland office. This senior role involves identifying new market opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and developing long-term business relationships that contribute to sustainable revenue growth. You will be responsible for defining and executing business development strategies that align with the company's overall objectives, playing a key part in shaping the future success of the organization in the Sunderland region and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships within target markets.
Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to drive revenue growth.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and industry influencers.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and competitive landscapes.
Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals and presentations to secure new business.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation of new business initiatives.

Requirements

Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related strategic role.
Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities.
Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with market research and competitive analysis.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
