The Role
A secondary school in Solihull is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Business Studies Teacher to join their department from September 2026 on a long-term supply basis.
The role involves teaching Edexcel Business across KS4 and KS5, delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ understanding of business operations, finance, marketing, and enterprise. You will support learners in preparing for GCSE and post-16 qualifications, helping them build analytical, commercial, and evaluative skills.
Responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, and supporting learners through coursework and exam preparation while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
The Candidate
- Hold QTS or be an ECT
- Have experience teaching Business Studies at KS4 and KS5
- Be confident delivering the Edexcel Business specification
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Be committed to supporting student progress and attainment
