Buyer - Direct Materials

About the Role

Our client is looking for a focused and experienced Buyer to manage Direct Materials for their operations in Norwich . This role is critical to the manufacturing process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of raw materials and components. You will be responsible for supplier selection, negotiation, and relationship management, playing a key part in maintaining supply chain integrity. Key Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and procure direct materials according to production needs and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure supply continuity.
