What You'll Be Doing
As Buyer - you will manage the supply of goods and services from external suppliers on behalf of HiiROC. The Buyer plays a crucial role in the procurement process, ensuring timely delivery, cost effective solutions and minimising risks in relation to availability and quality whilst ensuring that approved suppliers meet the expectations of HiiROC policies.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
* We recognise that people gain skills in different ways. Whether you have hands-on experience in supply chain, procurement, or buying, a relevant qualification, or both, we'd love to hear from you.
* Good level of education to A level or above
* Competent Microsoft Office Skills.
* Objective and open minded in stakeholder engagement.
* Awareness of Quality Management systems
* Effective communication and organisational skills
* Objective and open minded in stakeholder engagement.
* Able to effectively challenge the status quo
* Proactive and have a positive 'can do' attitude.
* Tenacious.
* Able to prioritise and manage multiple concurrent projects
* Analytic & Strategic thinker
* Collaborator
