Our client is hiring a Senior C# Unity XR Developer to join a collaborative engineering team working on a commercially successful XR platform used by major manufacturing organisations worldwide. Permanent role, hybrid working, competitive salary and strong career progression on offer. This role will be a blend of hands on coding as well as team leading/ mentoring a small team.

This tech-enabled software business develops advanced augmented reality applications that help enterprise customers inspect complex assemblies, identify manufacturing issues and visualise digital models against physical components. The platform runs on enterprise-grade mixed reality headsets and is now expanding onto tablet and mobile devices.

What you'll actually do

• Own and extend the existing XR platform with new functionality
• Build AR solutions for industrial inspection use cases
• Lead the transition of XR applications onto mobile and tablet platforms
• Evaluate emerging XR hardware as headset technologies evolve
• Influence architecture decisions and future platform direction

What we need

• Unity development on real-world applications
• MR, AR or VR project experience
• 3D graphics or spatial computing knowledge
• Clean, maintainable code within Agile teams

Desirable: HoloLens, Magic Leap, ARKit/ARCore, computer vision, Azure/AWS
