Cable Technician

Insight Global is seeking Cabling Technicians with fiber handling, termination, and testing of low-voltage cabling systems. These technicians will terminate devices, under the direction of the Lead Technician and Foreman in a mission-critical environment supporting a new data center build in York, SC. Technicians interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure installations are safe, accurate, and compliant with industry, company, and local code standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in low-voltage commercial installation experience
• Knowledge of industry-standard copper and fiber color codes and termination methods.
• OSHA10 Certification
• Valid driver's license

• Mission-critical experience
• Lead or supervisory technician experience
