About the Role
Balfour Beatty is proud to be working in partnership with Rolls‑Royce on a flagship project in Derby, supporting the development and enhancement of world‑class engineering and manufacturing facilities. Responsibilities
- Produce accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings in line with project specifications
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project teams to develop technical solutions
- Update and maintain drawing records and documentation
- Ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards and project requirements
- Assist in design coordination and clash detection where required
- Support the delivery team with technical drawing queries and revisions
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CAD Technician within construction, engineering, or infrastructure
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Understanding of engineering drawings and design principles
- Relevant qualification in CAD, engineering, or a related discipline (preferred)
