CAD Technician

Our brand-new client, based in St. Neots is seeking an experienced and qualified CAD Technician to join them on a full time permanent basis working 8.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Creating 2D and 3D drawings, technical brochures, 3D animations and documentation using Auto CAD and Autodesk
• Develop and maintain AutoCAD and Sketchup libraries
• Ensure that all documentation meets quality and industry standards / regulations
• Working closely with suppliers and consultants on product development
• Produce calculation competency for structures.
• Developing knowledge of industry wide standards in a number of different countries.

Qualifications

• Have strong AutoCAD practical experience for at least 5 years
• Hold OND / HND (or equivalent) in a relevant related subject
• Hold a professional membership such as IEng / Eng Tech
• It is essential that you have experience in structural steel / formwork, and construction and manufacturing knowledge and experience.
• Experience of using Autodesk Design and Manufacturing Suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work to deadlines and to work as part of a closeknit team.

Benefits
