Call Handler

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Call Handler/ Responder to join Derby City Council on an initial 3-month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Lifting customers using specialist lifting equipment

• Contacting emergency services — calling an ambulance, police, fire service, or other appropriate support when necessary.

• Contacting family or carers according to the person's care plan.

• Recording incidents accurately, including what happened, who was contacted, and what action was taken.

• Following safeguarding and confidentiality procedures, particularly when dealing with vulnerable people.

Essential Requirements

Experience working as a call handler

Full UK driving licence & own vehicle

Good IT skills
