Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care routines, including hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
• Support with medication management, ensuring adherence to prescribed regimens.
• Help clients with mobility, transferring, and using assistive devices safely.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding where necessary.
• Provide companionship, engage in conversation, and support social interaction.
• Monitor clients' well-being, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a care assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not essential; full training is provided.
• A genuine desire to care for older adults and a patient, understanding temperament.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a client's home.
• Must possess a valid UK driving license and have access to a reliable vehicle for travel within the Plymouth area.
