Care Assistant - Domiciliary Care

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of personal care services to clients in their homes, including washing, dressing, and toileting, with respect and dignity.
• Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and ensure clients maintain adequate hydration and nutrition.
• Administer or prompt medication as per care plans, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols.
• Engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities, providing companionship and emotional support to prevent loneliness.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of care provided, reporting any significant changes or concerns to the care coordinator promptly.
• Uphold all company policies and procedures, including those relating to safeguarding vulnerable adults and health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Ability to work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends, as required for domiciliary care.

• Willingness to complete a DBS check and relevant care qualifications.
