What Will You Do?

As a Care Assistant - Early Careers Apprentice, you’ll work alongside an experienced team to provide high-quality, relationship-centred care that enhances the wellbeing, happiness and quality of life of our residents.Every day will be different, but your responsibilities will include:

• Building meaningful relationships with residents and getting to know what matters to them.
• Providing personal care and practical support , always protecting residents’ dignity, privacy, independence and choice.
• Helping residents with everyday routines and activities while encouraging them to remain as independent as possible.
• Supporting residents to enjoy meaningful activities, hobbies and social opportunities.
• Observing residents and reporting any changes in their health or wellbeing to your line manager.
• Supporting a safe environment by raising concerns relating to health, safety, safeguarding, incidents or maintenance.

Most importantly, you’ll help create an environment where residents feel valued, heard, respected and at home .

What We're Looking For

You don’t need experience to start your career with us. What matters most is who you are, how you treat others . We’re looking for people who are:

Experience caring for a family member, friend or someone living with dementia can be helpful, but it isn’t essential . We’re more interested in your attitude, values and potential.You’ll also need GCSE Maths and English at Grade 5 or above
