Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant at our Extra Care Unit, you will be supporting residents who all have varying needs to live as independently as possible, with personalised care and support plans in place.
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as toileting, washing, dressing, and feeding.
- Help with medication management and routine health checks.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and ensure a clean, safe environment.
- Provide companionship, encouragement and a listening ear.
- Support residents with personal care and mobility assistance.
- Collaborate with other care team members to implement care plans.
