Care Assistant

Job DescriptionWe are looking for bright and bubbly Care Assistant's to join our brand new office, supporting clients living in Wells and across Cheddar, Winscombe, the Mendip Hills, Midsomer Norton, Radstock, Frome and the surrounding villages. If you are an experienced Care Assistant looking for a change or new to care and wanting to work with a company who truly care, then we want to hear from you! Majority of our current clients have visits early morning (8am - 10:15am) and late at night (7:30pm - 10pm). We also support through the day as well. The client base is building rapidly and so we are looking for people who are happy to build their working hours with us as our client hours builds alongside you. As a Care Assistant with us, the role will involve:Providing companionship, conversation and emotional supportPreparing meals and helping with daily routinesSupporting with medication and personal careAssisting clients living with dementia, Parkinson's, stroke recovery and other health conditionsSupporting with simple clinical tasks, such as compression stockings or catheter careAssisting with outings, attending appointments and help with shoppingHousekeeping and home support such as light housework and cleaningHelping clients remain safe, comfortable and independent in their own homesWhat We Can Offer You:£12.85 per hour during the week£13.50 per hour at weekendsDouble pay on Bank HolidaysPaid travel time at £12.71 per hourMileage between clients paid at 35p per mileFree Blue Light Card with national discountsAccess to our Care Skills Academy with industry-leading training, funded qualifications and career progressionWellbeing Hub with support covering mental health, nutrition, menopause, sleep and wellbeingRegular clients with consistent schedules, allowing you to build meaningful relationshipsA supportive office team that genuinely values and recognises your contributionOpportunities to grow within one of the UK's leading home care providersDue to the nature of the role, we need you be be aged 18 or over and a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is desired.
