About the Role

As a Care Home Support Worker Team Leader, you will take the lead in managing night-time activities in our residential and respite establishments. Your key responsibilities will include:

Safeguarding Residents: Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all residents, addressing any concerns promptly. Medication Management: Assist in the administration and monitoring of medications. Team Leadership: Supervise and develop a dedicated team, ensuring high standards of care and support plans are met. Problem Solving: Address emergencies and challenges as they arise, fostering a safe environment for both staff and residents.

What We're Looking For: To be successful in this role, you must possess:

Previous experience as a team leader in a care setting. The ability to work nights and weekends. A current moving and handling certificate. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. The capability to pass an enhanced DBS check. Empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to improve the lives of others. A reliable means of transport to work during unsociable hours, especially when public transport may be limited.Key Qualifications and Skills:

Experience in a care home setting. An in date moving and handling certificate. Strong leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
