About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Care Team Leader to oversee and guide their dedicated care team in Milton Keynes . This role involves ensuring the highest standards of care are consistently delivered to clients, while providing leadership, training, and support to care staff. You will be responsible for coordinating daily activities, managing rotas, and acting as a point of contact for clients, families, and external professionals. This is a key position for someone passionate about leading a team to provide exceptional domiciliary care and support services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of care assistants, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Oversee the day-to-day delivery of care services, ensuring compliance with care plans and organisational policies.
- Conduct initial client assessments and contribute to the development and review of individualised care packages.
- Manage staff rotas and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet client needs effectively.
- Provide ongoing training and support to care staff, identifying training needs and facilitating professional development.
- Act as a primary point of contact for client and family queries, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a senior care or team leadership role within domiciliary care.
- Relevant qualification such as NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Strong understanding of CQC standards and regulatory requirements for care services.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
