Venn Group are working with a school in Scunthorpe to recruit a Caretaker on a temporary basis, supporting the day-to-day operation and maintenance of a large school campus.

• Rate: £14–£16 per hour
• Start: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

• Support the smooth running of a large school site, working proactively within a caretaking team
• Carry out a wide range of practical and physical duties across the campus
• Assist with reactive repairs and general site maintenance tasks
• Respond to ad-hoc requests from different departments across the school
• Support with site logistics, including parking and setup for large events
• Liaise professionally with staff, contractors and visitors
• Respond calmly and effectively to emergency or difficult situations
• Maintain a safe, clean and well-presented environment at all times

About You

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – essential
• Previous experience in a caretaker, site manager or similar role
• Experience providing practical site services to a range of customers
• Comfortable working as part of a team on planned and reactive tasks
• Able to complete basic maintenance and refurbishment works
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach
