Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a

Grounds Maintenance Operative to join a team in Plymouth on a four-month contract.

This role would suit someone with previous experience in

grounds maintenance, refuse collection, litter picking or caretaking , who is physically fit, reliable and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

What We Offer

• Full-time, 4-month temporary contract.
• 37.3 hours per week.
• Monday to Friday working pattern.
• Opportunity to gain further experience across grounds maintenance and general maintenance duties.

Key Duties

• Carry out weeding and maintain outdoor spaces and flowerbeds.
• Move bins and clear fly-tipping.
• Drive a small caged van.
• Carry out cleaning duties.
• Complete basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance, refuse/litter picking or caretaking.
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence.
