Location: Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire & Cambridgeshire Contract: Temp to Perm

TEMP: £22 Per hour Salary: £39,000 per annum Van + Fuel Card Provided

We are looking for 2 experienced Carpenter Multi-Traders to join a long-term social housing maintenance contract covering a large patch across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire & Cambridgeshire.

The Role

• Carry out reactive and planned maintenance in social housing properties.

• Complete general carpentry repairs and maintenance.

• Repair and replace doors, frames, skirting, architraves and ironmongery.

• Carry out kitchen and bathroom repairs and minor refurbishments.

• Complete first and second-fix carpentry works.

• Undertake general multi-trade property maintenance and making-good works.

• Carry out basic plumbing, patch plastering and decorating where required.

• Work within occupied properties while maintaining excellent customer service.

• Diagnose issues and aim for a first-time fix wherever possible.

• Manage a daily workload across a large geographical patch.

• Complete works safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

• Follow relevant health & safety, housing and company procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter Multi-Trader.

• Qualifications perfered

• Strong carpentry background with good multi-trade skills.

• Previous social housing or property maintenance experience preferred.

• Full UK driving licence.

• Clean DBS

• Good communication and customer service skills
