Workshop Carpenter – Rail

We are looking for an experienced Workshop Carpenter to join our Track Workshops team, night shift only and must be from a rail or transport logistics background.

This is a manufacturing role, producing high-quality timber components and bespoke items from engineering drawings and specifications. This is not a shuttering carpentry position, please only apply if your experience is Workshop Carpentry and within rail.

Location: West Kensington

Shifts: Night Shift only (Apply online only)am - Monday to Friday. Overtime is available.

Rate: Umbrella £52.15 o/t £65.27 PAYE - £40.00 o/t £48.05

Duration: Long term

Key requirements:

• Proven experience as a workshop carpenter, manufacturing timber products.
• Skilled in using woodworking machinery, hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
• Experience producing accurate joints, machining timber and assembling finished products.
• Apprenticeship or equivalent workshop carpentry/joinery experience preferred.
• Full UK driving licence desirable.

Please note: We are looking for candidates with hands-on workshop manufacturing experience. This role is focused on making and repairing not installing.
