Job Description
Our client, a highly regarded law firm specialising in personal injury and clinical negligence, is seeking a Solicitor to join its established Spinal Injury team in London.
You will work alongside experienced and highly regarded lawyers, handling a varied caseload of complex injury claims, with a particular focus on spinal injury matters.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing a high-quality, client-focused service throughout the lifecycle of each claim.
- Managing a caseload of complex, primarily multi-track personal injury and clinical negligence claims.
- Acting for claimants in high-value and catastrophic injury matters.
- Conducting legal research and preparing correspondence, pleadings and other legal documentation.
- Working in accordance with the Civil Procedure Rules and relevant protocols.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to progress claims effectively.
- Contributing to the continued development and growth of the firm.
The successful candidate will ideally:
- Be a qualified Solicitor with 3–6 years' PQE.
- Have experience representing claimants in personal injury and/or clinical negligence matters.
- Have a strong interest in developing a career specialising in spinal injury claims.
- Have experience handling high-value, multi-track and catastrophic injury or clinical negligence claims.
- Have an excellent understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and relevant protocols.
- Demonstrate excellent client care and communication skills.
- Be confident managing a complex caseload with an appropriate level of autonomy.
- Have strong IT, administrative, organisational and research skills.
- Be hardworking, proactive and collaborative, with a personable approach.
- Demonstrate an interest in business development and contributing to the wider growth of the firm. Marketing experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
