About the Role
Our client is seeking a forward-thinking Category Development Manager to join their strategic team in Cambridge . Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement category growth strategies based on consumer, shopper, and market insights.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of category performance, trends, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align category strategies with commercial objectives.
- Identify opportunities for new product introductions and portfolio optimization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners to influence category vision.
- Develop compelling category presentations and business cases for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in category management, brand management, or market insights within the FMCG industry .
- Proven track record in leveraging data and insights to drive category growth.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and MS Office Suite.
