Working remotely, you will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and product development teams to ensure alignment and maximize category potential across the Leeds region and the broader UK market. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute data-driven category strategies to drive sales volume and market share growth.
- Analyze retail sales data, consumer insights, and market trends to identify key growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to present compelling category plans to retail partners.
- Work with the marketing team to develop effective promotional strategies and in-store executions.
- Manage product assortment, pricing, and placement strategies to optimize category performance.
- Identify and evaluate new product opportunities within the assigned categories.
Requirements
- Significant experience in category management or brand management within the FMCG sector .
- Proven ability to analyze complex data sets, including retail sales data and consumer insights.
- Strong understanding of retail channels, shopper behaviour, and category dynamics.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Experience in developing and implementing promotional plans and trade marketing strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
