You will be responsible for understanding consumer behavior, market trends, and competitor strategies to develop compelling category visions and execution plans that enhance product performance and profitability. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze category performance, consumer data, and market trends to identify growth opportunities and develop strategic category plans.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to translate category insights into actionable plans for new product introductions, promotions, and shelf optimization.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, presenting category strategies and insights to drive mutual growth.
- Create compelling category stories and presentations for internal stakeholders and external retail partners.
- Monitor competitor activities and market dynamics, adapting strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in category management, brand management, or sales within the FMCG industry.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in using data analysis tools (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, Kantar).
- Proven experience in developing and presenting category strategies to internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent understanding of the UK retail environment and shopper behavior.
