Category Manager - Indirect Procurement

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies for indirect spend areas (e.g., IT, Marketing, Professional Services, Facilities), focusing on value creation and total cost of ownership.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing processes, including market analysis, supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and drive alignment on procurement initiatives.
• Manage supplier performance, conduct regular reviews, and foster innovation and continuous improvement within the supply base.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and process efficiencies within assigned categories.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in indirect procurement, with a strong focus on category management.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful sourcing strategies and delivering significant cost savings.
• In-depth knowledge of indirect spend categories, market dynamics, and best-in-class procurement practices.
• Exceptional negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in procurement software and tools.
