Catering Assistant - Events

About the Role

Our client is seeking energetic and customer-focused Catering Assistants to join their event support team, with the flexibility to work remotely for specific administrative or planning tasks in Derby . While the core duties involve on-site event support, there will be opportunities for remote contribution to menu planning and logistical coordination. You will be responsible for assisting with food and beverage service, setting up events, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role offers a dynamic experience in event catering, combining hands-on service with remote operational input.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and decoration of event spaces according to client specifications.
• Serve food and beverages to guests during events, ensuring a high standard of presentation and service.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of event areas, service stations, and equipment.
• Support kitchen staff with food preparation and plating as required.
• Handle guest inquiries and requests courteously and efficiently.
• Participate in remote planning sessions for upcoming events, contributing ideas for service flow and menu integration.

Requirements
