Location: Richmond Start Date: Sep 2026 Hours: 15 hours per week (term time) Pay: Competitive hourly rate - dependent on experience

Are you reliable, hardworking, and enjoy working in a busy kitchen environment? We are looking for a Catering Assistant to support the day-to-day running of a school kitchen, helping to provide healthy, nutritious meals for pupils and staff.

The Role

Assisting the School Chef with food preparation and service Supporting the preparation of meals for pupils and staff Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen Washing up and maintaining a clean, safe working environment Assisting with stock rotation and basic deliveries

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment (desirable but not essential) A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn Good understanding of food hygiene and safety practices Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
