About the Role

Our client, a busy catering operation in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear , is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistants to join their team on a part-time basis. You will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure the smooth delivery of catering services for various events and functions. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and basic cooking tasks under supervision.
• Serve food and beverages to guests during events, ensuring pleasant and efficient service.
• Set up and clear event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, and service equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and service areas, including washing dishes and equipment.
• Support the catering team with various operational tasks as needed.
