About the Role

Our client is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistants to join their team in Nottingham , offering flexible part-time hours. You will play a crucial role in supporting the catering team with food preparation, service delivery, and maintaining a clean and organized environment during events and daily operations. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, assembling dishes, and plating food.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a polite and efficient manner during events.
• Set up and clear down event spaces, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene in the kitchen and service areas, including washing dishes and equipment.
• Support the catering team with stock rotation and inventory checks.
• Respond to guest requests courteously and assist with any immediate needs during service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a catering or customer service role is an advantage but not essential.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Understanding of basic food hygiene and safety principles is beneficial.
