About the Role

Our client is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistants to join their team in Bradford . This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in various aspects of food service, preparation, and customer interaction. You will contribute to ensuring that all catering services meet high standards of quality and presentation. The ideal candidate is a team player with a positive attitude, eager to learn and contribute to a busy catering operation, providing excellent service during events and daily operations, supporting the wider team to deliver memorable experiences for clients and guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
• Serve food and beverages to customers during events and service periods, ensuring a high standard of presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, serving areas, and equipment, adhering to strict food safety guidelines.
• Set up and clear down event spaces, including tables, chairs, and service equipment.
• Handle customer inquiries and requests politely and efficiently.
• Support the catering team with various tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to help.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a catering or food service environment is desirable but not essential.
• A basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
