Grade 3 SCP 3-4 Actual Starting Salary Grade £5948 (FTE Salary £25,614- £26,016)

About the role

Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, you will work as part of the Catering Team to ensure the accurate and timely preparation, storage, and service of food to the Academy's pupils and staff, meeting National Guidelines and Food Hygiene Standards.

The successful candidate will:

• Serve using the cashless till system, ensuring the area is kept clean at all times.
• Communicate effectively with staff and pupils at the school to ensure a quality service is maintained.
• Support the cleanliness and hygiene standards within the food hall and seating area.
• Adhere to the requirements of Level 2 award in Food safety and Hygiene at all times (training will be provided).
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene in the kitchen in accordance with domestic and catering standards
• Collecting and disposing of waste in appropriate manner
• Cleaning and maintaining dishes and other catering equipment.

• Able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively.
