About the Role

Our client is looking for an organized and experienced Catering Manager to oversee all aspects of their catering operations in Leeds . You will be responsible for client relations, event planning, menu coordination, staff management, and ensuring the smooth execution of all catering services. This pivotal role requires exceptional organizational skills, a strong understanding of the hospitality industry, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and memorable event experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all catering events from initial client consultation through to successful execution.
• Develop and finalize menus in collaboration with clients and the culinary team, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met.
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of catering staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels for all events.
• Manage event budgets, including costing, invoicing, and financial reporting, to ensure profitability.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, service, and presentation at all events, acting as the primary point of contact for clients on-site.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Catering Management or Event Management within the hospitality sector.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for client relationship management.
• Experience with menu planning, food and beverage service, and event logistics.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively in a fast-paced environment.
