Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of catering services, including event planning, menu selection, and execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their requirements and exceeding expectations.
- Oversee kitchen staff and service teams, ensuring efficient workflow and high service standards.
- Control budgets, manage suppliers, and ensure profitability of catering operations in Newcastle upon Tyne .
- Implement and enforce stringent health, safety, and hygiene protocols across all catering activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Catering Manager or similar senior event management role.
- Proven track record in client management and successful event delivery.
- Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, menu costing, and service techniques.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as dictated by event schedules.
